Working Vintage hand coffee grinder from the 1950s. Wood and metal Made by Pede, a Dutch coffee grinder maker whose craftsmanship goes back to the 1870s.
The steal Mechanics inside are all in order. There are only minor signs of wear, not surprising given its age. It's a Mid Century original!

Marked on the front with PeDe and the stags head.
Origin: Made in Germany by PeDe. PeDe stands for Peter Dienes. The German opened in 1869 in Remscheid factory who specialized in hand grinders and later electric mills. The logo consisted of a head of a deer with a high cross between the antlers. The company was taken over after his death in 1899 by the sons Friedrich and Peter Gotlieb. In 1962 PeDe went bankrupt.
